I’m Phoebe, a Biomedical Sciences graduate and experienced GCSE Physics tutor. I’ve supported students across AQA, Edexcel, and OCR boards, helping many improve from grade 5s to 8s and 9s. My academic background in medical sciences gives me a sharp edge in explaining physics concepts clearly and practically, especially for students aiming for top grades in their science exams.

My students consistently move up at least two grades in GCSE Physics, and that’s what drives me. I studied Applied Physics and started my career teaching in a co-ed comprehensive in Leeds before becoming Head of Physics at an academy in Kent. I now tutor full-time, focusing purely on GCSE Physics. Outside lessons, I speak fluent Thai and spend weekends cycling in the Peak District.

With a background in Electrical Engineering and three years of focused GCSE Physics tutoring, I’ve helped students across the UK improve their confidence and boost their grades. I’m a third-year Physics student with a strong interest in astrophysics and quantum mechanics. I'm Ruby, a GCSE Physics tutor with a strong foundation in theoretical physics and applied mathematics. After completing my MSc in Physics in Argentina, I pursued a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Cambridge, where I also supervised undergraduates in fluid dynamics and variational principles. My academic and teaching experience helps students tackle GCSE Physics with confidence and clarity.

I’ve taught GCSE Physics to a wide range of students, helping many go from low predicted grades to grade 7s, 8s and even 9s. I hold a degree in Physics Education and a master’s in Science Education, with experience supporting students with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning needs. I'm a second-year Physics student currently specialising in particle mechanics and electromagnetism. I’ve led science departments at both grammar and independent schools, with a clear focus on GCSE Physics.
